Brief: To create a strong retail brand concept that harnesses the power of packvertising to attract and engage consumers & developing packaging for a range of grocery products that is connected to its geographic origins.

Description :

Krunchi Kimchi is all about blending tradition with a fresh, sustainable twist. Their mission is to get children excited about kimchi-making. Understanding the challenges with its spicy kick and old-school packaging, they're shaking things up with colorful, fun designs that make kimchi a blast for the kids. 

 

About the project :

  • Effectively utilized the concept of Home Meal Replacements, allowing children to be hands-on with the kimchi-making process. By recognizing the target audience as tactile learners, this approach promises engagement.

  • Demonstrates a keen understanding of sustainability by innovating packaging solutions such as bio-degradable polymer fish-shaped containers and banana leaf wrapping, aligning with eco-friendly practices while preserving freshness and tradition.

  • By weaving Korean fairytales into recipe cards, the packaging not only educates but also entertains, creating a memorable and immersive experience for children. 

  • From app-based games like Kimchi Krunch to interactive experiences like visiting a pop-up store and printing personalized stickers, this project taps into various avenues to engage the youth. This multifaceted approach promises sustained interest and brand loyalty.
